Heard all that before?

Sure, it’s all important to be a good copywriter but its not the whole ground structure.  We are past the fact we can write great subject lines; our content is error free and there are no plagiarism problems anywhere. However, this is a positive there is more to becoming an average copywriter. It doesn’t happen overnight, and it certainly isn’t an easy journey.

Sometimes we can write a great article and get paid. Positives all round next person reads your content and says it sucks. It is a personal opinion were all individuals with a different opinion on subjects.

Just because one person rejects your work and has a complaint or two that’s no problem that is to be expected.  Importantly it isn’t whether the person you are writing for loves your copywriting or not the fact remains does the audience love or hate it?

You don’t need to be a copywriter to tell someone their work is not relevant to the group of people it was sent to, or the cost is too high or its stupid idea all together.

Use a tracker to your advantage.

To find out whether you are being an inspirational and all round good copywriter you need to install a mouse tracking service. Ones like mouse flow and the common crazy egg are designed to monitor the percentage of traffic to your site and how many of them are actually scrolling on further down the page.

You can consider yourself above average once you have a high percentage on people who are actually scrolling around your website. This means you have interested them and included a relevance to them.

Getting the feedback from the real people

The people you want comments and feedback from good or bad is the audience themselves. They are the people you want interested let’s keep them interested!

Whether you are a known copywriter or just starting out get the customer feedback. By placing a box at the end of your copywriting and a small message stating you want feedback where it may be good or bad criticism it all helps.

If you find a few are saying you have too many fillers in your sentences there you go change that and another step in the right direction of being an above average writer.

Offer a feedback live chat support so you can talk directly to your readers. Ask them what they dislike, how you can improve to reach their satisfaction, what do they want to see in your writing?

A survey is also a valuable tool a few questions about the topics of your writing the tone of your writing a few questions like that with a scale to rate their experience in reading your writing. After awhile review those ratings and you will see valuable information emerge that will improve you and your copywriting.

Some writers will brag once they get out in the big world they are going to be the next best thing because they received all A+’s in their writing. It simply doesn’t work like that yes, it is a good thing to pass all the courses however you are no above average copywriter if you don’t connect with your readers.
